Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Safety Education and Training Specialist to develop and deliver safety content that aligns with the Company Safety and Health Management System. You will educate teams across projects on safety practices and regulatory requirements—Safety 24/7.

Responsibilities include onboarding, program management, materials creation, evaluation, data reporting, and on-site or online training delivery. Strong teaching skills and familiarity with OSHA standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent.
• 3 to 10+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations and company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• New Hire and Site Safety Orientation: Conduct onboarding for new team members including drug testing, Workday information collection, new hire and site specific safety orientation content delivery.
• Training Program Management: Execute safety training and educational content tailored to the Company and project site with various delivery formats.
• Educational Materials and Correspondence: Develop manuals, guides, presentations, Safety Talks, and handouts to support operations managers and team members.
• Evaluation of Education and Training: Measure learning outcomes, gather feedback, and evaluate effectiveness to improve programs.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Maintain documentation, attendance, materials, evaluations, and ensure compliance with training requirements.
