• Develop, update, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
• Conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards, document corrective actions, and follow through on resolution.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
• Deliver employee safety training, including forklift and overhead crane operator training.
• Maintain emergency response and evacuation plans and coordinate drills.
• Monitor permits, certifications, regulatory changes, and safety documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and provide safety performance reports to management.
• Analyze safety trends and recommend improvements to systems and processes.
• Serve as a liaison among employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
