Job summary

SQA Services, Inc. is seeking a Safety Training Specialist for a 24/7 manufacturing site. You will develop and deliver safety training, lead incident investigations, and help maintain a positive safety culture across the facility.

Responsibilities include inspecting the site, maintaining records, ensuring OSHA compliance, and communicating findings. Strong English literacy and the ability to work within a quality management system are required; US citizenship or valid passport is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English; US citizen with valid US Passport.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations, industry-specific safety practices, and other relevant standards.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs.
• Skills in conducting thorough investigations and identifying root causes of incidents.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential hazards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety training development and delivery for a 24/7 manufacturing site.
• Lead investigations after an incident has occurred including near misses, safety incident, or property damage.
• Foster a positive safety culture through communication, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement.
• Maintaining accurate records of safety training, inspections, incidents, and other relevant data.
• Regularly inspecting the facility, equipment, and work practices to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Ensure all equipment SQA uses follows OSHA standards and policies; communicate to appropriate personnel when not in compliance.
