Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a District Safety Trainer to lead safety training for customers and staff across locations. You will publish class schedules, deliver instructor-led and virtual sessions, and maintain records in our LMS.

The role requires travel (10–15%), strong adult- learning skills, and the ability to coach evaluators. Eligible candidates may have bilingual abilities in Spanish or French and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with adult training experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment safety and operator training for customers and staff.
• Publish 3-month rolling training class schedules on the platform.
• Provide private training at branch locations or customer sites.
• Maintain training records in Sunbelt systems per policy.
• Issue customer wallet cards within 24 hours of class completion.
• Adapt training using various methods and stay current with courses.
• Maintain and renew trainer certifications.
• Deliver Train the Trainer courses for customers.
• Improve productivity by maximizing class attendance and scheduling.
• Support sales teams to grow safety training opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create training flyers and materials.
• Coach Certified Evaluators in districts and provide practical evaluations.
• Assist onboarding of new District Safety Trainers and Evaluators.
• Serve as safety advisor to employees and customers.
