Job summary

Emerson in the United States is seeking a Safety & Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and sustain safety, health, and employee training programs, partnering with leaders to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will lead OSHA compliance, audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations, while designing onboarding and recurring training.

You’ll maintain records, assess skill gaps, and drive Kaizen and process improvements to support a safe, high-performing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, EH&S, HR, or related field or equivalent
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and incident investigation practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety, health, and training programs across the facility.
• Ensure OSHA compliance through audits, inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and safety initiatives including emergency preparedness and workers’ compensation support.
• Design and coordinate onboarding, training, and compliance programs across manufacturing and support functions.
• Maintain training records, matrices, learning systems, and documentation for regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with leaders and SMEs to identify skill gaps and improve training materials.
• Monitor performance metrics, conduct audits, and drive Kaizen and process improvements.
