Job summary

Emerson is seeking an EH&S Specialist to collaborate with the department manager to develop and implement Environmental Health & Safety programs ensuring regulatory compliance and company policies. The role includes providing safety training, reporting incidents, conducting inspections, and driving employee engagement in safety initiatives.

Responsibilities focus on implementing EHS policies, supporting incident investigations, audits, and interface with regulators.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years relevant work experience in a safety role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
• U.S. Persons only: citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 22 CFR §120.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Support investigations of incidents and unsafe conditions; help identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Lead safety observations and participate in audits and regulatory interface (OSHA, EPA, state/local regulators).
• Assist in environmental programs and liaise with management during EHS meetings.
