Job summary

Easterseals NH in New Hampshire is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead and enhance a multi-site safety program across licensing and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to reduce risk and improve compliance.

The role requires project management, data analysis, and experience in health and safety, with OSHA familiarity and the ability to obtain OSHA-30 within a year. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are also required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, OSHA or related field with 5–7 years in health and safety.
• High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years in health and safety.
• Osha-30 certification within one year of hire.
• Experience in project management, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience coordinating safety or operational functions.
• OSHA regulations knowledge preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enhance safety programming to meet licensing/regulatory standards.
• Chair cross-organizational safety committees.
• Partner with Occupational Health and Property Management to reduce injuries.
• Review and update emergency operation plans and safety documents.
• Collect, organize, retain, and present inspection and drill data.
• Manage digital systems for safety data and documentation.
• Lead quarterly safety audits.
• Participate in safety incident reviews and responses.
• Coordinate purchasing of safety gear and supplies.
• Design and implement workplace safety training programs.
• Report training metrics, near misses, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Review and update safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in cross-organizational committees and projects.
