Job summary

Easterseals NH & VT in Manchester, NH is hiring a Safety Coordinator to lead the development and enforcement of the organization's safety program across multiple sites. You will coordinate with Occupational Health, Property Management, and other stakeholders to reduce workplace injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in safety management or related field with 5–7 years of health and safety experience, or a high school diploma with 10+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety management or related field with 5–7 years of experience in health and safety.
• OSHA-30 certification within 1 year of hire.
• Experience coordinating safety or operational functions.
• Experience participating in compliance audits and risk mitigation (preferred).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve the organization's safety program across all service lines.
• Chair cross-organizational safety committees and coordinate sessions.
• Partner with Occupational Health, Property Management, and other stakeholders to reduce workplace injuries.
• Review and update emergency operation plans and safety data sheets.
• Collect, organize, and present inspection and drill documentation.
• Manage digital safety data systems and quarterly safety audits.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs with the Training Center.
• Prepare reports on training metrics, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Review and implement safety policies and procedures.
