Job summary

Easterseals NH, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Manchester, NH to lead and enhance the organization’s safety program across multiple sites. This full-time role focuses on compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards while coordinating with key stakeholders.

Ideal candidates hold OSHA-30 within a year, have 5–7 years in health and safety (or 10 years with a HS diploma), and are proficient with MS 365. A valid driver’s license is required; relocation not specified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field with 5–7 years in health and safety, or
• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of health and safety experience.
• OSHA-30 Certification within 1 year of hire.
• Experience in project management, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience coordinating safety or operational functions.
• Experience participating in compliance audits (preferred).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (preferred).
• MS 365 proficiency; Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and enhance organizational safety programming to ensure compliance across licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
• Chair and coordinate cross-organizational safety committees.
• Partner with Occupational Health, Property Management, and stakeholders to reduce workplace injuries and mitigate risk.
• Coordinate reviews of emergency operation plans and safety documents.
• Collect and present documentation from inspections, drills, and audits.
• Manage digital systems for safety data collection and reporting.
• Lead quarterly safety audit process.
• Participate in safety incident reviews and corrective actions.
• Coordinate purchasing of safety gear and supplies.
• Design and implement workplace safety training with the Training Center of Excellence.
• Prepare reports on training metrics, near misses, incidents, investigations, and action plans.
• Review and update safety policies and procedures.
