Job summary

Garney is seeking a Safety Manager to ensure safety is the top priority on water and sewer pipeline projects. You will lead safety programs, trainings, and inspections across project sites, driving compliance and incident investigations.

The role requires a degree in a related field, OSHA-30, bilingual preferred, and willingness to travel or relocate. CHST certification must be pursued within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil, mechanical, construction engineering/ management or safety-related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification in Construction is required or preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Must obtain CHST within 6 months of employment.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Review, implement, and assist with safety regulations and standards for project management and field personnel
• Conduct safety training for job site personnel
• Conduct daily safety inspections to identify, document, and correct safety hazards
• Conduct accident and incident investigations

Skills

OSHA 30 Certification

Bilingual - English/Spanish

Education
