Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day package sortation through staff management, training and safety compliance. You will ensure safe, efficient operations while managing administrative functions and aligning with FXG policies.

You will mentor supervisors, adapt to changing needs and drive performance across metrics, with regular communication to small and large audiences. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification program or Associate's Degree acceptable in lieu of experience.
• Ability to manage staff and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All culture and initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, recognize, evaluate and discipline staff as needed.
• Organize and direct day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff for safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze performance and drive improvements in key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate goals to teams.
• Develop employee relations and safety strategies.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues as appropriate.
