Job summary

You will ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages, manage hiring, training, and performance, and collaborate with the linehaul team as needed.

The role requires leading meetings, coaching staff, and enforcing FedEx policies while maintaining compliance with regulations. Evening schedule and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college toward a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day operations and assigned staff, including hiring, coaching, training, and performance evaluation.
• Direct and control operations to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Assign and manage staff to minimize costs and maximize quality while coordinating with linehaul when applicable.
• Lead meetings to communicate updates and daily goals; provide clear instruction and public speaking as needed.
• Develop and administer safety strategies and training programs.
