Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a frontline supervisor to support the Safety Above All culture and oversee daily operations of the package sortation team. You will manage a staff, hire and evaluate employees, coach performance, and ensure compliance with FXG policies and regulations.

You will lead daily meetings, train new staff, and adapt quickly to changing business needs while maintaining positive, professional interactions with the workforce.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• Ability to read, interpret and act on numerical data and reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture initiatives and oversee safety programs.
• Manage hiring, coaching, training, performance evaluations and staff discipline.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff for safe, efficient sortation and productivity.
• Mentor and develop less-experienced supervisors and staff.
• Train new employees on duties and performance expectations.
