Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Associate degree or 2+ years of college counted toward degree is acceptable in lieu of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred for advancement and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate, and manage staff performance and productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze performance and implement improvements to key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate updates and goals; public speaking as needed.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety strategies.
• Resolve escalated customer service issues and train new employees.
• Mentor staff; adapt quickly to changing business needs; perform other duties.
