Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All Culture and manage daily operations and staff for safe, efficient package sortation in the facility. You will hire, coach, train, evaluate performance, plan staffing, assign tasks, and monitor metrics to drive improvements.

You will lead meetings, mentor colleagues, adapt to change, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements while coordinating with linehaul for logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or two years of college towards a degree may be acceptable.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support FedEx Safety Above All culture and supervise daily operations.
• Hire, coach, train, evaluate performance and manage staff.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff for safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze operational performance and initiate improvement actions.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate goals and updates.
• Develop safety and employee relations strategies and programs.
• Train new employees on job duties and performance expectations.
