Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day package sortation and staff performance. You will champion the Safety Above All Culture and ensure compliance with FXG policies and government regulations while managing administrative functions as needed.

You will hire, coach, train, motivate and evaluate staff, lead operational planning, and drive improvement in key performance metrics through data-driven action plans.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in package handler or supervisory roles.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (retail, hospitality, fulfillment center, warehouse, dock, or stock room).
• Military experience with honorable discharge acceptable or supervisory experience.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree toward a degree is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition, performance evaluation, discipline, and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct, and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees to ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages; track and manage trailers with linehaul as applicable.
• Lead daily meetings for workforce communication and daily goals; conduct public speaking to various audience sizes.
