Job summary

DocuSign is seeking a Market Development Representative (MDR) in Illinois to generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails, qualifying prospects by asking about their business strategy and aligning solutions. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the MDR Manager, with hybrid in-office/remote work.

Expect the role to spend about 80% on the phone, training in strategic selling, and opportunities to earn incentives in a growing SaaS company.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent sales experience.
• 1+ year of client/customer facing experience.
• Prior SaaS industry experience preferred.
• Driven, enthusiastic and hard-working.
• Ability to form strong business relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospects in core vertical markets, offering tailored solutions.
• Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives across SMB, Mid-Market or Enterprise.
• Use CRM to record information and identify opportunities in territory.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create email and LinkedIn campaigns to raise brand awareness.
