Job summary

DocuSign in Seattle is seeking a Market Development Representative to generate new business through outbound calls and targeted emails. The MDR qualifies prospects by asking about their strategy and then tailors DocuSign’s solutions to their needs.

This role is an individual contributor position reporting to the Manager, MDR, with hands-on training and a focus on strategic selling in a rapidly growing SaaS company.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent sales related experience.
• 1+ year of client or customer facing experience.
• SaaS industry experience preferred.
• Strong business relationships and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and targeted emails to prospects in core verticals.
• Qualify prospects with strategic questions about their business strategy.
• Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives.
• Use CRM to record information and identify opportunities; collaborate with marketing.
• This role spends about 80% of the time on the phone prospecting new clients.
