Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Representative to expand penetration within existing clients and secure new SaaS business. You will nurture relationships, present opportunities, and drive quota attainment, with ~50% of meetings face-to-face.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote‑first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• 50% driving requirement and valid drivers license.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1‑hour commute).

Responsibilities

• This role calls on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota.
• Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs.
• Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self‑generated prospecting and company‑initiated prospecting programs.
• Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence.
• Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
