Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an automotive or RV service department is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information; excellent communication and managerial skills; ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises one or more employees in the service department.
• Maintain all autos, golf carts, tractors, and other company machinery.
• Oversee inventory, ordering and delivery of supplies for the service department.
• Assist in disciplinary or promotional recommendations for service personnel.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed at all times.
• Motivate workers to achieve work goals and maintain courteous, efficient responses.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of management company policies.
