Job summary

Fun Town RV is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the service, parts and warranty departments, lead technicians, and ensure compliance with company standards. You will drive efficiency, safety, and exceptional customer experiences in a fast-growing RV retailer.

The role requires strong leadership, technical RV knowledge, budgeting and communication skills. You’ll develop staff, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with vendors to ensure timely repairs and satisfied customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in service management, preferably in RV or automotive industries.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Technical knowledge of RV systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, chassis).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities focused on customers.
• Proficiency with service management software and tools.
• Ability to manage budgets, analyze performance metrics, and drive improvements.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in the RV industry.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and mentor service department staff including technicians and advisors.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and high performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and professional development plans.
• Ensure exceptional customer experiences and timely service completion.
• Oversee scheduling, workflow, and customer wait times.
• Develop service policies, monitor budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and stay current with RV systems and repair techniques.
• Track KPIs to measure success and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with sales to support pre-delivery inspections and warranty work.
