Job summary

Partners for Rural Impact is seeking a School Coordinator for the FSCS Initiative. This full-time, grant-funded role reports to the Program Manager and serves as the on-site implementation lead to ensure students and families receive coordinated supports that boost attendance, engagement, and academic readiness.

The School Coordinator will work with public schools, LEAs, and community partners to expand services, reduce duplication, and align with the four FSCS pillars, dedicating 100% effort to

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 3 years of experience in education, community engagement or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in human services.
• Experience coordinating multifaceted programs.
• Familiarity with the community school model.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the FSCS initiative at the assigned school site in alignment with the program plan and MTSS framework.
• Facilitate the school-level advisory board and engage school leaders, families, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the school principal and partners to align services and support project outcomes.
• Coordinate and deliver integrated academic, behavioral, social-emotional, health and postsecondary supports for identified students.
• Coordinate and deliver extended learning opportunities, including after-school and summer programming.
• Monitor partner-delivered services for alignment with grant objectives and quality standards.
• Deliver postsecondary readiness services, including college and career advising and FAFSA completion.
• Deliver high-quality family engagement programming, including Family Villages.
• Use data sources to identify priority students, implement interventions, monitor progress, and adjust supports.
