Job summary

Partners for Rural Impact seeks a School Coordinator to lead the on-site FSCS initiative, coordinating academic, behavioral, and health services across schools and community partners. The role focuses on holistic student supports, family engagement, and postsecondary readiness within a year-round, onsite program.

The coordinator will work with LEAs and community organizations to expand learning opportunities, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with grant objectives and MTSS standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 3 years of experience in education, community engagement or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience coordinating multifaceted programs helpful.
• Familiarity with the community school model.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site implementation of the FSCS initiative at the assigned school site in line with the program plan and MTSS framework.
• Facilitate the school-level advisory board and engage school leaders, families, and partners to identify needs and support improvement.
• Collaborate with principal and partners to align services and achieve project outcomes.
• Coordinate and deliver integrated academic, behavioral, social-emotional, health, and postsecondary supports for identified students.
• Provide extended learning opportunities including after-school and summer programs with staff and partners.
• Coordinate partnerships to ensure alignment with grant objectives and quality standards.
• Deliver postsecondary readiness services such as college advising, FAFSA completion, and scholarship guidance.
• Deliver family engagement programming to empower families and connect them to resources.
• Use data to identify priority students, monitor progress, and adjust supports as needed.
