Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation seeks a Community Health Aide Trainee for Kipnuk to provide primary and emergency care in the village clinic. The role requires relocation or resident status in the village and travel to Bethel for training.

Responsibilities include preventive and chronic care activities, year-round coverage, and potential lead Health Aide duties. Active CHP certification training will be completed through Health Aide Sessions I–IV.

Competenze

• Mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units; compute rate, ratio, percent.
• Language skills: read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos; write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Mansioni

• Provide primary, acute, chronic and preventive health care at village clinic.
• Travel to Bethel or training sites for basic training and required trainings.
• Provide year-round coverage including summers.
• Willing to provide itinerant coverage to other YKHC villages.
