Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation seeks a Community Health Aide Trainee for Kwigillingok to deliver primary and emergency care in the village clinic. Travel to Bethel and training sites is required, with year‑round coverage and itinerant duties across villages.

Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be willing to become CHP via Health Aide Sessions I–IV; EMT or ETT certification is required. Proficiency with Word, RPMS, and Telehealth is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a resident of the village or relocate to serve as CHA/Practitioner.
• Be at least 18 years old with HS diploma or GED.
• Must learn CHP training and be EMT/ETT certified.
• Proficiency in Word and email; RPMS/Telehealth experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in village clinic (acute, chronic, preventive).
• Deliver emergency care and year‑round coverage including summers.
• Possibly lead a Health Aide and provide itinerant coverage to other villages.
• Travel to Bethel or training sites for required sessions.
