Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation seeks a Community Health Aide Trainee to provide primary health care in Hooper Bay village clinics. The role includes emergency coverage, preventive care, and potential itinerant assignments across YKHC villages.

Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be nominated by the village council. Training leads to CHP certification with required health aide sessions I–IV and EMT/ETT credentials; travel and year-round coverage are essential.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be nominated by village council.
• Must attend Health Aide Sessions I-IV to become CHP.
• Must be certified ETT or EMT.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math (TABE).
• Willing to travel to Bethel and training sites.

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary, acute, chronic and preventive care at village clinics.
• Provide emergency care as needed.
• Travel to training sites and villages for coverage.
• May serve as Lead Health Aide; itinerant coverage as assigned.
