Job summary

Signature Aviation is seeking an Airside Experience Specialist at our East Boston, MA on-site terminal. You will deliver seamless hospitality while supporting aircraft ground services, fueling, de-icing, parking, and towing, all with a service-first mindset.

The role requires schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays, and will operate in outdoor environments around active aircraft. Prior aviation or guest service experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, meet airport background check requirements to receive and maintain an airport security badge.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license. In some locations a commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required.
• Must be able to exercise good judgment and follow directions from supervisor/management.
• Preferred: 3–6 months experience and/or training in aviation or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to conduct airside operations safely and efficiently according to SOPs and communicate clearly to achieve tasks.
• Collaborate with guests, clients, vendors, and aircraft crewmembers to meet service needs (fueling, de-icing, lavatory, ground power, potable water, parking, marshalling, catering, towing).
• Prepare for arriving/departing aircraft, identify open tasks, and report safety concerns to stakeholders.
• Operate and drive ground service equipment (fuel trucks, de-icing trucks, ground power units, tugs, stair trucks).
• Load/unload luggage and cargo into/out of aircraft and guest vehicles.
• Provide professional guest service and a positive attitude to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Offer safe transportation when driving shuttle vehicles for guests and luggage.
• Maintain safe, clean ramps and operations.
• Fuel handling, including fuel quality control, inventory, and documentation.
• Understand and enforce all safety, guest service, and security requirements.
• Stop work if unsafe conditions arise and report concerns to management.
• Create accurate records of time worked and activities.
