Job summary

HID Global Corporation is seeking an RTLS Service Technician to install, service, and validate Real-Time Location Systems for healthcare customers in the Atlanta area. The role involves traveling between hospital sites to ensure reliable RTLS infrastructure and asset management, with a focus on service quality and response within SLA.

You will support a variety of RTLS, Asset, Hand Hygiene, and Environmental solutions, work with as-built drawings, and train customer leads on proper usage.

Qualifications

• Vocational school or 2-year college degree preferred; high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• In lieu of degree a minimum of two years' experience supporting RTLS products and experience in customer services or related positions.
• Working knowledge of healthcare RTLS, Asset Management, and Hand Hygiene.
• Customer-focused with a proactive approach and ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain RTLS, Asset, Hand Hygiene, and Environmental solutions for HID healthcare customers.
• Troubleshoot installations and use drawings/documentation to correct deficiencies and repair systems without supervision.
• Provide onsite validation and testing of RTLS systems.
• Maintain inventory to support service needs and monitor schedules.
• Travel locally between customer sites and arrive at locations within a two-hour window.
• Respond to support tickets within SLA, including a 30-minute response, and reassign when out of scope.
