Job summary

Aventiv is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support the Paducah and Eddyville, KY region. This field-based role involves traveling within the region to install and repair telecommunications equipment and related devices in correctional facilities.

The technician will handle installations, training, troubleshooting, and customer support, with a focus on ensuring tablets and other devices are used effectively and inventories are accurate.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing telecommunications hardware and related networking equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, program and install telecommunications hardware and networking equipment in facilities.
• Install phones, kiosks, tablets, and other equipment within assigned area.
• Provide site surveys support and assist in pre-bid meetings or sales conferences.
• Communicate ETA and status to dispatchers and customers.
• Troubleshoot problems with cross-department coordination for resolution.
• Educate customers on Securus products and services; assist with training as needed.
