Job summary

Aventiv is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support the Lexington, KY region. This field-based, roving role requires travel within the area and is not remote.

You will repair, install and maintain telecommunications hardware, tablets and related equipment in correctional facilities, coordinate with dispatch, and provide on-site training and support. A vehicle stipend of $500 per month plus mileage reimbursement is provided; qualified candidates have a high school diploma and telecom/

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of telecom and networking installation, repair and maintenance.
• Experience with Windows OS, VOIP, and networking equipment.
• Familiarity with telecom cabling standards and installers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair telecom equipment, networking hardware, and related devices.
• Install Securus products, features, and equipment in client sites.
• Provide onsite or hybrid field support and customer training.
• Assist with inventory, data entry, and reporting as needed.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and document ETA and travel.
• Protect inventory and maintain tools and assets.
