Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Route Supervisor to oversee a team of drivers and ensure safe, reliable service across routes. You will coach staff, monitor safety standards, and manage route assignments to meet company expectations.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid Class B CDL, a DOT Medical Card, and be able to work nights/weekends. Travel between offices may be required. Join a family-owned leader committed to safety and service.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team-development skills.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read maps and navigate service areas.
• Proficient in Windows applications and Microsoft software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities and performance of route drivers.
• Train, coach, and direct employees to improve performance.
• Monitor safety standards and ensure compliance goals are met.
• Run routes as needed due to absences or breakdowns.
• Track attendance and performance documentation.
