Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Residential Route Supervisor to oversee daily service delivery for residential customers, ensuring safety, timeliness, and cost efficiency in line with Waste Pro practices and core values. The role emphasizes Positive Leadership while guiding drivers to meet service standards.

The position requires CDL awareness, route planning, safety training, and strong communication with customers and municipalities. A high school diploma and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3–5 years in transportation, management, logistics or waste industry preferred.
• Associate's degree or 2 yrs in transportation/logistics with coaching/supervisory experience also acceptable.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, ANSI and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of drivers and daily operations; communicate safety and service points.
• Maintain safe work environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor routes, productivity, and labor costs; adjust routes as needed.
• Handle customer issues and coordinate with sales for service changes.
• Complete accident/injury reports and respond to incidents.
