Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Residential Route Supervisor to oversee daily service delivery for our residential customers, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-efficient operations in line with Waste Pro practices and core values.

You will lead drivers, coordinate routes, monitor safety, and interact with city and customers to resolve issues. A strong background in transportation or waste logistics, plus a CDL, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3–5 years experience in the transportation, management, logistics or waste industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, ANSI and other related federal, state & local regulations.
• Valid class A or B commercial driver's license (or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire) with a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Proven customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the supervision of drivers and daily operations; greet drivers and ensure inspections.
• Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Share decision driving techniques and reinforce safety guidelines; lead weekly safety meetings.
• Route planning for new service starts; review productivity reports and optimize routes.
• Address customer issues and coordinate with sales for service changes as needed.
• Conduct route observations and safety training; monitor DOT hours and driver attendance.
