Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Residential Route Supervisor to oversee daily service delivery for residential customers, ensuring safety, timeliness, and cost-effective operations. You will supervise drivers, enforce safety, and route new starts while coordinating with dispatch and sales to meet service commitments.

The role requires CDL, strong communication, and a track record in leadership and customer service. Work outdoors with flexible schedules and a focus on Positive Leadership principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years in transportation, management, logistics or waste.
• Associate’s degree or 2+ years experience in related field with coaching/supervising.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, ANSI and related regulations.
• Valid CDL class A or B or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and daily operations; ensure safety and on-time service delivery.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and enforce company policies.
• Lead safety meetings and coaching using safety guidelines and practices.
• Route planning for new starts; optimize routes and control labor costs.
• Address customer issues, dispatch communications, and coordinate with sales.
• Monitor inspections, vehicle maintenance, and DOT hours of service compliance.
• Complete reports, train new employees, and conduct performance evaluations.
