Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to be the face of UniFirst on customer routes, delivering and picking garments daily, growing accounts, and representing a nationwide garment services leader. You’ll build strong relationships, ensure reliable service, and drive sales on your route.

With a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and no nights or weekends, you’ll earn commission on your route and benefit from a strong compensation package and company support in training and development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT requirements including a physical exam must be met.
• High school diploma or GED (military service acceptable).
• Strong customer service skills with ability to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Technically proficient and able to learn new systems to improve operations.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers on assigned route, delivering and picking garments daily.
• Assist service team with loading/unloading trucks and starting each day accurately.
• Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and returns while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Build rapport with customers and introduce new garments/products to enhance service.
• Identify upselling opportunities to grow your route and earnings.
• Operate a company walk-in truck along designated routes, prioritizing safety.
• Work in indoor/outdoor environments with attention to safety and detail.
• Troubleshoot service issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a predictable schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours with no nights or weekends.
