Job summary

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is seeking a Route Service Supervisor to lead a team of Route Service Representatives and manage routes, inventory, and customer relationships. You will drive to customer stops, ensure on-time deliveries, and train new hires in safety and procedures.

The role requires supervisory experience, a valid license, and the ability to coordinate with management, drivers, and customers to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver''s license and pass MVR checks.
• Supervisory experience required.
• 1-3 years experience as a driver or service representative.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver merchandise along planned route.
• Oversee and train Route Service Representatives.
• Ensure vehicle DOT compliance and perform DVIRs.
• Load/unload at company and customer locations using proper safety techniques.
• Maintain inventory levels and service notes for accounts.
• Develop customer relationships to anticipate demand changes.
• Prospect potential leads and upsell products.
• Cover routes as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist in fleet maintenance and route planning.
