Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a Route Service Manager to lead Route Service Supervisors and Representatives responsible for delivering to multiple customers daily. The role focuses on driving customer satisfaction, account growth, and profitability at the local location.

The candidate will recruit, train, and develop a team, build strong customer relationships, and collaborate with the location management team to deliver optimal service programs. DOT and driving requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior customer service experience required.
• Ability to problem solve and handle a variety of customer service situations.
• Ability to negotiate, train, coach and lead a team.
• Strong computer proficiency (MS Office).
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• 21 years of age.
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the recruiting, training, and development of a team of Route Service Representatives and Route Service Supervisors.
• Build strong relationships with your customers and elevate your team’s level of achievement in customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with location management team to provide the best customer service and product programs.
• Negotiate customer contract renewals.
