Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Route Relief/Utility RSR to support the Service Department by covering routes, performing service tasks, and up-selling products. Reports to the District Manager.

You will learn and support all routes, assist in rush deliveries, process payments, maintain route paperwork, and help ensure timely, accurate deliveries while building lasting customer relationships. Previous driving and customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and be 21 years or older.
• Keep a clean driving record with no major violations.
• Demonstrate vehicle operation and driving experience.
• Strong customer service and route sales skills.
• Clear English communication, good direction-following and time management.
• Recognize colors/sizes/types and perform basic counting.

Responsibilities

• Perform responsibilities of Route Sales Representative and related tasks.
• Learn and support all routes; run routes on holidays or vacancies.
• Assist in rush deliveries, renewals, audits, training as directed.
• Solicit new customers and up-sell/cross-sell all service lines.
• Participate in promotions, training and audits.
• Follow company policies for new customers and service needs.
• Build customer relationships and ensure outstanding service.
• Safely operate delivery vehicle; maintain cleanliness and inspections.
• Process customer payments and keep route paperwork current.
• Ensure timely deliveries and manage inventories for textiles.
