Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking an Office Route Reconciliation specialist in Texas to reconcile driver routes and secure cash deposits. You will audit returns, review driver paperwork for compliance with internal cash-handling procedures, and post daily cash to A/R with proper deposits.

The role requires AR/accounting experience and strong data-entry skills, with a path to grow within a leading food distribution company in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of Accounts Receivable or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years in an accounting environment.
• Wholesale food service distribution experience preferred.
• Outstanding data entry skills (10-key by touch; alpha-numeric).
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile the routes of drivers as they return from routes and deposit cash.
• Audit product returns against adjustments on customer invoices to ensure accuracy of counts.
• Review route driver paperwork to ensure cash handling procedures are followed.
• Post money received from drivers to Accounts Receivable and make deposits per cash management procedures.
