Job summary

Ben E. Keith is seeking an Office Route Reconciliation specialist in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on reconciling driver routes, auditing cash handling, and posting cash receipts to accounts receivable.

The position supports efficient cash management and accurate invoicing within BEK’s Food and Beverage distribution operations. Strong attention to detail and accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years work experience in an accounting environment.
• Excellent data entry skills (10-key by touch).
• Ability to learn and use internal applications.

Responsibilities

• Audit product returns against adjustments on customer invoices to ensure accuracy of product counts upon return.
• Review route driver paperwork to ensure drivers perform cash handling per BEK guidelines.
• Post daily money received from drivers to A/R and make deposits per cash management procedures, ensuring security of funds.

The Office Route Reconciliation position is responsible for reconciling the routes of the drivers as they return from routes and depositing cash.

• Audit product returns against adjustments on customer invoices to ensure accuracy of product counts upon return.
• Review route driver paperwork to ensure drivers are performing cash handling procedures according to BEK operational guidelines.
• Perform daily posting of money received from drivers to A/R and make deposits according to cash management procedures, ensuring the security of funds.

Job Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Accounts Receivable or equivalent experience
• 1 to 2 years work experience in an accounting environment
• Outstanding computer skills, with exceptional data entry (10-key by touch and alpha-numeric) skills
• Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications
