Job summary

SUNSET DISTRIBUTING LLC in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Route Reconciliation Specialist to balance daily delivery routes, deposit checks, and support the Accounts Receivable team.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and Word skills, solid cash-handling procedures, reliable work habits, and the ability to learn in-house systems. Hours are Monday–Friday, starting at 11 a.m. or noon, totaling about 40–50 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to learn in-house systems.
• Background in accounting is desired; education and on-the-job experience considered.
• Strong computer skills are a must.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Balance and finalize daily delivery routes; deposit checks and process receipts for AR.
• Verify deposit tickets; ensure deposits match daily deliveries.
• Post payments to accounts and prepare related deposit paperwork.
• Serve as liaison between Delivery and Finance to ensure smooth workflows.
• Notify relevant department of any delivery or finance issues.
