Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Service Monitor to direct day-to-day route operations and report to Dispatch Supervisors. Requirements include 1 year Dispatcher experience or 2 years Customer Service, a high school diploma, and familiarity with Trapeze software.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Dispatcher experience preferred.
• Two (2) years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Trapeze software.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate a high customer service commitment.
• Able to demonstrate professional phone manner.
• Knowledge of the service area is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day route operations and report to the Dispatch Supervisors.
• Communicate with drivers and clients; monitor service quality.
• Monitor driver sign-in/sign-out daily and ensure timely routes.
• May assign trips to drivers to balance route coverage.
• Monitor daily system performance and assist in operating reviews.
• Note late or closed routes and inform Dispatch Supervisors/Managers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
