Dispatcher

MV Transportation is seeking a Dispatcher who will direct daily route operations and report to the Dispatch Supervisors. This role involves communication with drivers and clients, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and timely service. Responsibilities include tracking sign-in/sign-out times, reporting service issues, and maintaining operational performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle client calls and communicate with drivers and management.
• Monitor radio, telephones, and on-road service quality.
• Promote positive employee morale and customer service.
• Oversee driver sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Assign trips to drivers to balance routes.
• Monitor system performance and review operational data.
• Report route delays or issues to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Dispatcher experience preferred.
• 2 years of Customer Service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Trapeze software advantageous.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Professional phone manner.
• Knowledge of the service area is a plus.

Starting pay rate: $29.36/hour
