Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Dispatcher to direct day-to-day route operations and report to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager. The role involves coordinating with drivers and clients, ensuring safe, cost-effective, on-time service, and reporting performance metrics.

Prior dispatcher and customer service experience is preferred. The position emphasizes multitasking, professional phone manners, and knowledge of the local service area to improve route reliability and rider

Qualifications

• 1 year dispatcher experience preferred.
• 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Tripshot software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes client calls and communicates issues with drivers and managers.
• Monitors radio, telephones and on-road service quality.
• Influences positive employee morale and customer service.
• Monitors and completes driver sign-in/sign-out daily.
• May assign trips to drivers to ensure even distribution.
• Monitors daily system performance and analyzes operating results.
• Notes route delays and reports to Dispatch Supervisors/Managers.
• All other duties as assigned.
