Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a dispatcher to communicate with drivers, respond to service orders, schedule services, and relay updates to crews. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and data-entry proficiency in an office setting.

Responsibilities include routing assignments, ticket closure, and maintaining systems like Tower and Trackese. Previous call-center or logistics experience is valued, with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D and at least 6 months of related work experience.
• Experience in Waste, transportation, or logistics is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in a call center environment preferred.
• Good telephone and 2-way radio skills; ability to deal with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Computer proficiency—MS Office and typing skills
• Ability to react well under pressure and work well both independently and as a team

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base and dispatch drivers to calls as they come in.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers and close tickets daily.
• Plan and monitor daily and next day route assignments for drivers to meet standards and agreements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delivery/pickup issues; communicate changes to customers and Sales staff.
• Answer incoming calls from Customer Service and provide route information or follow up with drivers.
• Serve as emergency contact for drivers and coordinate with maintenance.
• Review route paperwork and enter customer information into databases; close previous day work orders.
• Maintain data in Tower and Trackese, and verify dump tickets are entered.
• Print, review, and correct productivity reports for route supervisors daily.
• Distribute and maintain driver phones/radios and ensure software updates and charging.
• Additional duties may include PPE inventory, fuel ticket reconciliation, and Saturday work.
