Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Coverage Specialist to support delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable, ensuring seamless service for customers. You will learn multiple routes, transport garments safely, and uphold exceptional customer interactions.

This role emphasizes autonomy, safety, and operational excellence, with opportunities to collaborate with service and management teams to support installations and rerouting efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Meet DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; able to work independently.
• Prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes and learn customer-specific details.
• Deliver garments and products to customers along established routes.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Solve customer requests independently to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
