UniFirst seeks a Route Coverage Specialist to step in on delivery routes when Route Service Representatives are unavailable. You will load, transport, and unload garments and products to customers along established routes, ensuring timely service and accurate handling.

The role requires proactive problem solving and adherence to safety standards. You will collaborate with Service and Management Teams to support routes, upsell where appropriate, and maintain strong customer relationships through

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• DOT requirements including a physical exam.
• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency across multiple routes to provide top-tier service.
• Deliver garments and products to customers, load/unload, collect used items for return.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and positive interactions.
• Resolve customer requests independently and maintain loyalty.
• Accurately manage invoices, conduct inventory audits, and maintain vehicle safety and appearance.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Support new account installations, assist RSRs on routes, and contribute to rerouting and collections.
• Share customer feedback with location leadership and monitor local market activity.
