Job summary

NANA Management Services is seeking a Security Officer to provide security for the Maniilaq Village Health Clinics and surrounding areas in Alaska. The role involves a 1 week on, 1 week off rotation, with on-call requirements and a 10-day training in Kotzebue.

Lodging and transportation for training are provided for new hires. Responsibilities include monitoring premises, de-escalation to ensure safety, and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass Alaska background check and license fee.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitors assigned areas visually, electronically, or audibly.
• De-escalates situations to maintain safety.
• Inspects doors, windows, and secure areas.
• Reports incidents per company policy.
• assists in events, logistics, and clinic readiness.
• Responds to emergencies and safety protocols.
• May issue and log ID badges.
• On-call work outside normal hours.
