Job summary

NANA Management Services, LLC is seeking a Security Officer for the Maniilaq Village Health Clinics area in Alaska. The role operates on a 1 week on, 1 week off rotation and may require on-call work after hours. A 10-day training in Kotzebue with lodging and transport is provided for new hires.

Responsibilities include monitoring areas, de-escalating incidents, inspecting entry points, reporting data, assisting with events, and responding to emergencies. The position has no supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass Alaska background check and obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas and ensure safety and security.
• De-escalate disputes to protect staff and visitors.
• Check doors, windows and security systems for operation.
• Report incidents per company policies.
• Assist with events and clinic readiness.
• Respond to emergencies or disasters to protect life and property.
• May issue and record ID badges.
• Work on-call and outside normal hours when scheduled.
