Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Sales Trainee to rotate through Inside Sales, Field Aftermarket and Whole Goods Sales, Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing, spending about 50% of time visiting customers.

You will learn all areas of the sales team, support order entry, coordinate activities, analyze regional sales, and shoulder administrative tasks; strong communication and team skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Ability to travel 50-70%.

Responsibilities

• Understand and learn all areas of JLG sales team through a rotational program.
• Work with the inside sales team to enter orders, and field customer calls.
• Act as an inter-department liaison coordinating essential company activities on behalf of the sales team.
• Partner with sales team members to ensure alignment on customer and regional needs or trends.
• Partner with sales representatives to enter customer information and configure machines that meet customer's current and future demands.
• Analyze regional sales and order book entries to provide credible input for the forecasting process.
• Handle certain administrative tasks as assigned.
